Do you provide a warranty?
We only supply and fit the highest quality OEM and original parts, we therefore provide a full 12 month warranty on all repairs carried out at FoneFix Honiton which covers the parts supplied by us and the workmanship carried out during the repair. We do not cover accidental damage under our warranty.
How long does the repair take?
Here at FoneFix Honiton we keep a wide range of spares in stock for most makes and model smartphone such as Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, on this basis we aim to complete 85% of repairs the same day and usually achieve this within one hour. Where we need to order a part in the repair can take a little longer, however we aim to complete all repairs within 3 working days.
How secure is ordering online? Is my data protected?
All customer data such as name, address and contact details are securely stored on our server. We at FoneFix Honiton take security very seriously and will never pass on or sell your details to third party companies who then spam you with junk mail and emails, you have our word on this. All payment details are not stored on our system at all as they are processed by PayPal who securely encrypt your data keeping your date and personal details 100% safe and secure.
What are the return delivery charges?
Once your device has been successfully repaired and tested we securely package and return to you using Royal Mail Special Delivery which guarantees next delivery and insures your device up to the value of £500. The cost to return your device using this service is just £5.00.
What exactly happens after booking a repair?
Once you have placed your order online you will receive an order confirmation email along with a receipt email directly from PayPal. If you are sending your device in for repair we recommend using secure packaging and sending via an insured service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery to FoneFix Honiton, 11 Milldale Crescent, Honiton, Devon EX14 1RB. Which payment methods are accepted at FoneFix Honiton ?
When placing your order online we accept payment via all major debit and credit cards, you will be redirected to a secure PayPal payment page where you will be asked to enter your card details. You do not need an account with PayPal as we only use PayPal to process the payment on our behalf. All details entered on the payment page are 100% secure using the latest encrypted technology. When calling in to our workshop for repair we accept payment via cash or credit and debit cards, we do not accept cheques and all payment must be completed upon or before collection of you device.
Will I lose telephone numbers and data stored on my phone?
No, we will never delete any data during a standard repair. The only time data may be deleted is when a device has a software issue, we only do this as a last reosrt and always contact the customer prior to resetting a device.
