Notice: Coronavirus Impacting Supply Chain – Book Much Needed Repairs While Stocks Last
Many parts used for iPhone, smartphone and tablet repairs, even many OEM parts are manufactured or assembled in factories in China. Every year there are often some shortages of repair parts following the Chinese New Year, as workers return to the factories and production starts up again.
With the recent coronavirus outbreak affecting China, the Chinese government is expecting longer delays this year. The Chinese New Year has been extended through February 9, and the primary markets for cell phone repair parts will remain shut down until February 18 at a minimum due to the spreading coronavirus.
Once the factories are able to resume production, there may still be delays in shipping the parts to the U.K., because of shipping restrictions put in place to prevent the coronavirus from spreading more internationally.
The electronics repair industry will likely experience a shortage of parts over the next few months as a result of this coronavirus outbreak. As the availability of parts decreases, the cost of the remaining parts will rise.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak in China, our repair prices may increase inline with market prices effective from Monday, February 17, 2020 and as a result the prices displayed on our website may not be correct.
